Welcome to Hillside Rovers FCHillside Rovers is a friendly football club based at Hillside Avenue School, but independent from the school and with many players from other schools in the area. The club's philosophy is to get as many children involved in football, regardless of their ability, sex or nationality. We are not 'win at all costs' but seek to strike a balance between being a competitive club and also giving opportunity to children of all abilities.
We are run by volunteers who are all parents of players. Hillside Rovers is an FA Charter Standard Club. This means that we comply with criteria laid down by the FA, such as qualified coaches who are CRB checked. We are also a registered charity and are affiliated to Norfolk County Football Association. Our five year groups are from Year 1 (under sixes) to Year 5 (under 10's). We are affiliated to St Andrews Football Club so our players normally move on to there from Year 6, when 11-a-side soccer starts. If you are interested in joining Hillside Rovers, please ask one of your year group's coaches or click the "Contact us" link above and we'll get back to you very soon. For further information please explore the rest of our website.
