Hillside Rovers retain FA Charter Standard in 2008
Published date - Fri 29/02/08

It gives me great pleasure to announce that on 28th January 2008 we have received notification from the FA that Hillside Rovers have retained their FA Charter Standard for another year.
The Charter Standard is awarded to clubs who follow the FA best practice guidelines.
These include
- Ensuring all Coaches have been Criminal Record Bureau checked
- Ensuring that at least one coach per age group attends a level 1 coaching course, of which we encourage ALL of our coaches to attend. The course also covers child protection and emergency aid.
- Having a Child protection officer
- Attending regular FA training and update evenings.
All of this is all done to ensure that we offer football in a fun and safe manner for all of the children.
This year Hillside Rovers were recognised as one of only three clubs from the whole of Norfolk that had attended all of the evenings for the year. Thank you to all of the coaches and officials who regularly give up evenings to attend.
Finally, thank you to all the children and parents who make Hillside Rovers such a special club worthy of this special FA Charter Standard.
