Match reports, 14 February 2010 at Blofield

Hillside Rovers U10's 0 v 2 Blofield

It was a frosty morning and the ground was quite hard. Blofield are second in the league so we knew it wasn't going to be easy. Tom in goal, Alex D and a newcomer, Callum, were at the back with Sam, Cameron & Alex N in the middle and Niall up front. To be fair we didn't create too much but we did defend stoutly with Tom in magnificent form. As the first half drew to a close, Blofield eventually got their reward with a goal. The second half started with Alex N being replaced by Finn but Blofield got an early goal which was rather fortuitous. However Hillside dug in deep and even began to play a bit of passing. Had a couple of passes found their way through who knows what could have happened? But they didn't and it finished that way, Blofield 2-0 Hillside

Hillside Rovers U10's 0 v 5 Hellesdon

Tom in goal, Alex D & Callum at the back with Sam, Alex N & Niall in midfield and Finn up front. This was a lot different from the first game. Hellesdon moved the ball very well and their passing was quick. Before we knew what was going on the goals went in. Tom still did his best but at half time it was 4-0 to Hellesdon. In the second half Alex N went off, Cameron played in defence and Alex D moved up into midfield. We battled hard and did much better with Hellesdon scoring just one more, so the game finished 5-0. Well done to Tom who made some superb saves.
