Year Group News - Under 7's
With a year of training under our belts the Hillside Rovers under 7's are getting in to their stride.
We hope that as we progress through the season the boy's skills, stamina, and football begins to improve, but most importantly they have fun and enjoy their football. It's great to see the enthusiasm that comes from six and seven year olds and we hope this will continue throughout the year. This year as the team develops we plan to have some friendly matches against other local teams and there are some summer tournaments open to us, which we may wish to enter.
I have organised a friendly tournament with Costessey and Sprowston Under 7’s teams on Saturday 11th September. This will be held at the Costessey ground and there will be no training at Hillside on the 11th September for the under 7’s. (All other year groups as normal). All our boys are invited to play as we will have two or three teams playing against both the Sprowston and Costessey teams. Please could you let me (Eliot) know if you are able/unable to attend. More information click here.
We have around 25 boys attending on a regular basis, and even with a number of dads helping to coach, it's as many as we can practically look after at the moment. If you are keen to come, please contact us and you can join a waiting list.
